Film producer Marc Mandishora, popularly known as Mandisoul is shooting a show called “Entertainment Afrika” to be screened on ZBCTV and M-Net soon. The show is a variety arts programme.
“The show will have three segments: movies review, entertainment circles and Zimbabwean and African personalities.

“I have already submitted some of the episodes to ZBCTV and l will be co-hosting the show with Nonhlanhla ‘V Candy’ Tutani,” he said.

He also said he will be opening the Entertainment Afrika Talent Academy in Sentosa, Harare next month.

Mandisoul said his vision was to launch a world class training school for creative arts in Zimbabwe to nurture professionals.

“I discovered that there was no school in Zimbabwe that specialised in teaching people practical subjects on production that is why l came up with the initiative,” he said.

The academy will cater for people interested in script writing, radio and television presentation, film making and directing.

“Interested individuals will be required to submit forms and any work they would have done. If a candidate has no recorded material they will be auditioned before they are registered,” he said.

The academy is supported by The Motion Picture of Zimbabwe in terms of venue, structures, administration and technical facilities.

Mandisoul is known for productions like “City of Dreams”, “Dirty Groove”, “Zambezi” and has produced Roki’s video “Chidzoka”.
