LONDON. — Sir Alex Ferguson admits his hard-line approach to disciplining his Manchester United stars could have cost the club English Premier League soccer titles.

Ferguson won 13 league titles with United during his 27-year tenure at Old Trafford before he retired at the end of the 2012-13 season.

However, he believes he may have won even more silverware if he had not adopted a tough disciplinary approach. Ferguson was renowned for his no-nonsense stance on players when they stepped out of line, and notoriously fell out with several big-name players. — The Telegraph.
