A few days ago we were celebrating Easter. We were celebrating the death, burial and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is alive. He died and was buried on Good Friday. All day Saturday he was in the grave. But Sunday morning! O hallelujah! He is no longer in the grave. The tomb is empty! Our Lord Jesus is alive today, O I like it, I like it.

Death could not hold him. The resurrection power brought him back. Friend, here is the good news; the same resurrection power is at work today.

When he resurrected, you also resurrected. You are no more the same; the power of resurrection is at work in you. Realise that power today and see your finances, health, spiritual life, business, family and marriage change to a higher dimension.

“And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. And entering into the sepulcher they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

“And he saith unto them, ‘Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

“‘But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you,’” Mark 16:4-7.

Here is an interesting account from the Word of God. It was the women first who went to the grave early Sunday morning and discovered that Jesus had risen from the dead. They told it to the rest of the disciples.

Peter and John immediately ran to the grave to see. John was younger and outran Peter, but he did not get into the sepulcher.

Peter came and ran straight in.

That’s when they saw the angel inside who told them, “Jesus you are looking for is not here, he has risen!” O hallelujah, I like it, my Saviour is not dead, No, he is alive. Yes, he died but he rose from the dead. He is risen!

Now that he is risen from the dead, you are also risen with him. No longer live life the same, no. You are now a new creation.

Refuse to fear the things that intimidated you before he rose.

The diseases, lack, barrenness, huddles at work and all hindrances that were on your path before Easter should not limit you anymore. We are now operating in a new dimension!

We are no more limited. The Jesus that died for us and the one that rose operate on different levels. For example, the risen Christ needed no keys to enter into a room.

While the disciples were locking themselves in the upper room in fear of the Jews, suddenly Jesus appeared in their midst and said, “Peace be unto you”. He walked in through closed doors, O hallelujah! Every closed door in your life after Easter like this is now powerless. You can walk through, you can enter!

You could be saying to yourself, “Eh but Bishop, where I am coming from they use charms and witchcraft to pull others down, I am not sure if I will survive!”

Ah come on brother, He has risen. Jesus has risen from the dead. Nomore shall you fear witchdoctors and spells.

You rose with Christ. You rose in power and in a new dimension.

Don’t run around and do things you used to do before Christ rose from the dead, No.

Don’t be found in the wrong places. Don’t be found where you used to be before you were a Christian. It’s not the time to be found back in idol worship,

No, no, no you have risen with Christ. You are no more in that place. The angel declared, “O you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth? He is not here, this is a place of the dead. Jesus is alive he has risen!”

If you were promiscuous, living a life of small-houses, not supporting your family, not obeying your parents, being a brawler and violent and treacherous — friend — don’t go back to that dead place again!

No. Jesus has risen so you have also risen!

We recently heard one young lady testify that she used to be an aid to a witchdoctor, cutting people marks with razor blades all over the body to put charms.

Sometimes they bite anywhere on the body. Realise this thing today; resurrection power is at work in your life. You are a new creature. Nomatter what past you had, Jesus has risen.

Your Master is alive. We serve a living and powerful God. If you were bound in poverty, bad-luck, stagnation and being the tail in all you do — it is all broken in Jesus’ name.

Even if you were bound by a disease; bound in a tearful marriage; bound in a terrible workplace; bound by the vice of wrong friends and bound by every force of darkness. These are the days after Easter, Jesus is risen. He is no-more in the grave, No.

Death has been defeated. Death in your business, death in your family, death in your health, death in the works of your hands — has been defeated.

You used to buy bananas to sell and they would rot in your house none bought at all; you would work and work but still achieve nothing — not even acknowledgement from your company nor a little bit of promotion.

Haha don’t worry!

Jesus has risen in your life!

Promotion is yours and coming your way. The business, the project, the studies, the marriage, the family, health — will be fruitful like never before!

O hallelujah. Every closed door in your life I declare it opened! If the enemy asks you how do you think this is all going to happen.

How do you think you can ever succeed in life? Tell him, Because my Jesus is risen remember! Haha he is not dead, he rose from the dead. Because he lives, I can face tomorrow. Resurrection power is at work in me O hallelujah!
