FC Platinum have said their team next year will be dominated by players who served them very well this season. The Zvishavane side yesterday continued their pursuit of CAPS United defensive midfielder Tendai Samanja, who is one of the four players they want to add to their squad. They have already netted one of the most promising forwards in the domestic Premiership, highly-rated midfielder Brian Muzondiwa, who impressed at Black Rhinos this season.

Aces Youth Soccer Academy’s Emmanuel Matiranga has joined his former teammates, Walter Musona and Wisdom Mutasa, at the club.

FC Platinum spokesperson Chido Chizondo said they were still pushing for the signatures of their targets.

“We want a team which is dominated by the youth,” Chizondo said.

“Our team has been doing well this season and our target is to maintain that good standard of the game.

“If the four players (they are targeting) agree to come to FC Platinum, they will not just boost our squad but will be good players for (the) CAF competition.

“We are still trying to iron out some things and we are sure that within our window period we will be able to put everything together.”
