Miss Curvy finalists that have camped in Harare ahead of the grand finale set for Kariba next month will be treated to a massive farewell bash at Junction 24 tomorrow. The farewell party is part of their final preparations before they get into the boot camp on August 4. Junction 24 director Tavepi Madzingira said they are hosting the curvaceous models for the send-off party that is set to ignite the spacious entertainment joint in a big way.

“This is an important event for us because we are determined to promote the arts in all genres. We want to be a window through which artistes can express themselves and reach out to their target audience in an emphatic manner,” said Madzingira.

“I am encouraging people to come in their numbers and mingle with the models and wish them good luck before they go into the camp,” he said.
Madzingira said there are a lot of activities lined up that will entertain revellers till dawn.

“Tomorrow (today) will be packed with a lot of activities that include dance, catwalk, fun games as well as Carex and Tripple Ice promotions.
“We have Sonia Events doing a wedding decor mini demo all day. Please make table reservations to guarantee a seat. There is no cover charge,” he said.

Miss Curvy pageant founder, Mercy Mushaninga said they are looking forward to have great time with the patrons tomorrow.
“We are expecting to have a lot of fun with our fans and it is worthy to mix and mingle with them giving them an opportunity to wish them the best before the grand finale,” she said.

The models on Wednesday embarked on Central Business district clean-up campaign dubbed “Don’t Mess Harare”.
They started off their campaign at Ximex Mall where the beauties issued pamphlets to illegal cellphone dealers urging them to keep the environment clean.

Miss Curvy is held by Zim Gossip with an aim of affording models that might not fit in the prescriptions of common pageants a chance to show their skills.
