Sungura outfit Extra Kwazvose is set to relaunch second album “Zvepasirino” at Pick and Save in Mutare tomorrow. One of the leaders of the group Obert Gomba said they have done similar shows in different parts of the country but have not performed in the Manicaland province capital. The group last performed in Mutare last year when they clashed with their former boss Alick Machesi who was performing few kilometres away from their venue.

“That will be our first show at Pick and Save this year and we are looking forward to an exciting event as we will be taking our new album there. People have heard our songs and the response has been good so far. We will now officially launch it in Mutare,” said Gomba.

He said they will be in high spirit as they will be performing at a place where Macheso is very popular.
The group is a combination of former Macheso band members Franco Slomo, Noel Nyazanda, Gomba and Jonasi Kasamba who deserted the musician after payment disputes.

Their current album is doing well with the title track and a song “Fara NeKwazvose,” being popular.
Show promoter Esau Mupfumi said they wanted to give them a chance to bring their album to their fans in the city.

“We don’t select artists but we give them chances to perform and this is their chance to perform at this place and present what they have to offer,” he said.
