She is one of the executive producers of the documentary “Food Chains”. And for the film’s New York City premiere, Eva Longoria (pictured)looked like a lady in charge wearing a black blazer and knee-length dress on Tuesday. The 39-year-old beauty showcased her first film production about foreign labourers and their working conditions in the agricultural industry across the US.

Eva wore a strapless leather peplum design that covered up her enviable figure in all black.
She wore her long brunette tresses in loose curls around her shoulders and added a touch of glamour with dark eye-liner and eye-shadow.

‘‘Everybody should be concerned with where our food comes from and who picks it,’’ Eva shared.
Adding: ‘‘I still believe agriculture is the backbone of America. You’ve got to pay attention to the labour force.’’

According to the documentary’s website, ‘‘Food Chains reveals the human cost in our food supply and the complicity of large buyers of produce like fast food and supermarkets.

‘‘They have tremendous power over the agricultural system. The narrative of the film focuses on an intrepid and highly lauded group of tomato pickers from Southern Florida —the Coalition of Immokalee Workers who are revolutionising farm labour.’
