EasyGo Driving School
Finding the right driving school which equips you with the relevant and practical driving skills is key. At EasyGo Driving School we have an extensive experience in driver training having been the sole Government drivers’ training institution.

With over 21 centres across the country and a remarkable pass rates we remain focused on our goal in offering quality training to prospective drivers at affordable rates. Our vision is to become a leader in the driver training in the region and the first choice driver training organisation in Zimbabwe.

EasyGo Driving School, a subsidiary of CMED (Pvt) Ltd, regards road safety as a key pillar to its business operations.

Most accidents on our roads are due to human error and EasyGo Driving School contributes towards the eradication of accidents by offering driver training services to learner drivers and licensed drivers from our centres located throughout the country.

Born out of the CMED Driving School which trained all Government drivers for more than 50 years from its Mt Hampden Training Centre, EasyGo Driving school is proud of its extensive experience and has opened up 21 centres in major towns around the country.

EasyGo also boasts of having successfully carried out pretests of all learner drivers before they proceeded to VID for certificate of competency tests. This programme saw the increase in the VID pass rate from 21 percent to 50,2 percent at the time the programme was discontinued in October 2009.

Vision

The vision of the EasyGo Driving School is to become a leader in the driver training in the region and the first choice driver training organisation in Zimbabwe.

Mission

Our mission is to provide the premier services in driver development within the SADC region. We strive to offer reliable, safe, state-of- the-art vehicles and driver training services to local and regional clients.

Our objective is to turn EasyGo Driving School into a national driving school offering quality training to prospective drivers at affordable rates throughout the country. As a State-owned enterprise, we serve as a Government agent in achieving some of its objectives and three of the pertinent ones in this regard are:-

Reduction of the rate of accidents through the provision of adequate training to learner drivers;

Reduction of corruption in the whole exercise of acquiring driver’s licences.

To set up a network of offices throughout the country thereby bringing the service closer to all potential clients;

In line with our vision, we will be expanding our operations from our current domain (cities and major towns) to smaller towns and growth points. We have realised that the Zimbabwe populace residing in small towns and growth points travel long distances to major towns to access driving schools. They are thus disadvantaged as they get this service at a higher cost.

The company is in the process of acquiring more vehicles and exploring other more ideal models for driver training.

In our quest to improve the skills to drivers, we always partner with the Traffic Safety Council in the retraining of drivers through offering defensive driving and refresher courses. We also offer driver assessment tests and refresher courses for company drivers.

EasyGo Car Hire and Travel, a subsidiary of CMED (Private) Limited, prides itself as the car rental company of first choice.
