CAMEROONIAN striker Ntoupa Epoupa has agreed a two-year deal with Harare giants Dynamos after impressing the club’s coaching staff. The 23-year-old has been in the country for two weeks and was being assessed by coaches Lloyd Mutasa and Biggie Zuze. “I can confirm that we have signed Ntouba Epoupa and I feel he is going to be a good replacement for those who left the club,” Dynamos acting secretary-general Graham Mafoko told The Herald.

“Our team was lacking a striker and we have tried to give the coaches maximum support.

“It is now up to the striker and the technical team to deliver. He is a good player who uses both legs and I think goals will start coming at Dynamos as it was our weakest department.

“People should not take us for granted this season as we are going to compete for honours so that we restore lost pride. It must be Dynamos all the way.”

Dynamos have only two slots remaining and are expected to seal a deal with former Gunners and Trojan striker Quality Kangazi this afternoon.

Former Buffaloes goalkeeper Blessing Mandimutsira is also expected to join the goalkeeping department.

The Glamour Boys have cancelled their proposed tour of Botswana this weekend.

The team had been invited for international friendlies against Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Gilsport

“The Botswana football Association felt this was going to be counter-attraction as Township Rollers and Platinum Stars will be playing in a Charity Match in Gaborone.

“We had even proposed to play in Francistown, but still they refused to sanction the match.

“We are now going to play two matches in Mutare and one in Chegutu on Sunday,’’ said Mafoko.
