DYNAMOS team manager Richard Chihoro has called on their players to maintain the momentum they have shown in recent weeks when they host Bulawayo City at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow.

After winning their last four games on the trot and gliding closer to the leading pack in the Premiership race, the Glamour Boys will be hoping for another victory to keep pressure on pace-setters Ngezi Platinum Stars and Chicken Inn who meet at Luveve this afternoon.

Another interesting duel is expected tomorrow as log leaders Black Rhinos host resurgent Harare City at Morris Depot where the army side are yet to lose a match this season.

“Biggie Zuze will be in charge and assisted by Zondai Nyaungwa. Both of them are qualified coaches and vastly experience as well,’’ said Chihoro.

“There is nothing different in terms of how we expect to play our game because these guys are all part of the technical team that has been working with Mutasa since the start of the season. So it’s a matter of seeking continuity. We have been engaging the players as usual and they know they have to respect the coach who is on the bench on the day.

“Probably the biggest issue that we talked about is complacency. You see, Dynamos have been winning in their last matches and it’s very easy for some of the guys to try and underrate their opponents.

“Of course Bulawayo City are not one of the big teams in Zimbabwe but in football there is no room for that, nothing comes easy. We have to continue working hard like we have been doing all along and press for positive results.’’

Head coach Lloyd Mutasa is in South Africa with the Warriors.

Striker Quality Kangadze is still sidelined because of an ankle injury he suffered in the game against Ngezi Platinum Stars last week at the giant stadium.

With skipper Ocean Mushure also away on national duty, the captain’s armband will be worn either by Obey Mwerahari or midfielder Masimba Mambare, who is expected to come back from injury.

Zuze has all his players at his disposal with the likes of Emmanuel Mandiranga, Lincolin Zvasiya, Peace Makaha and Cameroonian Joel Christian Epoupa enjoying good form.

DeMbare are likely to draw a big crowd tomorrow following their imperious demonstration in the match against Chapungu which was abandoned just after the interval with the Harare giants leading 4-0 when a goalpost collapsed.

They had previously featured in probably one of their most entertaining matches this season when they beat plucky Ngezi Platinum 3-2 at the National Sports Stadium.

But Bulawayo City coach Mandla Mpofu said they are conscious of what to expect from their hosts and have prepared accordingly.

“We have been working hard on our shortcomings and probably what we need most is to be mentally prepared for the game because Dynamos usually have the 12th man strongly behind them when they play at home.

“Let me also mention that it’s an uphill task meeting Dynamos at this juncture when they have gathered momentum and are doing well. Just look at their previous games.

“It will be a tough match for us.’’
