After celebrating her birthday in style on Sunday, musician Pah Chihera is set hold yet another stylish party tonight at Dandaro Inn, this time not alone but with fellow Jazz musician David “HD” Hondoyedzomba.

The show’s theme is “Double Birthday Celebration” and it will also feature sungura stars Suluman Chimbetu and Peter Moyo.

In an interview, show organiser Oscar Nembire said the gig was for celebrating and having fun with these two great jazz crooners and other musicians.

“This show is for people to come and celebrate, that is why it is themed ‘Double Birthday celebration’, we are trying by all means to send invites to through social media platforms and in physical form so that fans can come and enjoy in numbers.

“Not only will these two celebrate their birthday but there will be other prominent musicians who will entertain fans as well,” Nembire said.

Hondoyedzomba said he is happy that he will be meeting Pah Chihera in this much hyped show and also added that fans should expect fireworks.

“This is an opportunity for me and Pah to get to know each other, we might as well work on collaborations and I am truly convinced that we will do something together.

“Also, fans should expect fireworks at this event because we want to make history so that we can remind people about this event in years to come,” Hondoyedzomba said.

In a separate interview, KORA nominee Pah Chihera, said she is excited to be part of this as it is two people celebrating a life together in music.

“I am so excited because as you know it’s two people celebrating life together assisted by family and friends. As an artist, I have a big family of my fellow artists who are coming to celebrate with me and so obviously fans should expect fireworks,” said the excited Chihera.
