LONDON — Borussia Dortmund are relaxed about the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Gunners are said to have approached the German club for talks over the Gabon international, according to The Sun.

And Spanish publication Don Balon claim Liverpool are also keen on the in-form striker, hoping to use Jurgen Klopp’s connections to complete a deal.

However, despite interest from the Premier League, Dortmund’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke is not concerned and says the club can hold onto their top talent.

Citing Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan as examples, he said: “Where are they right now? Still here.

“At this stage, Borussia are very much capable of making financially interesting offers to players.

“Add the sporting element and the BVB environment to it and we don’t need to hide from anyone.

“We might not have as much money as the top stars in Premier League, but we can offer a lot of other things. For instance, our players were able to celebrate Christmas.” — Daily Express.
