interesting story of a man called Saul of Tarsus, in the book of Acts 9:1-5.
He was a persecutor of the early church and was against the ways of the Lord. He was an enemy of those that believed in Jesus Christ, he believed in God and thought he was doing God a favour by persecuting anyone that believed in this so-called King of the Jews.
One day something happened to this man. It was an accident, a divine accident, when he felt the impact of this divine encounter, he fell from his horseback, the Bible says, “as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round him a light from heaven. And he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul Saul why persecutest thou me?
“And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest . . ” he could not remain the same.
He didn’t have to be told who it was that had appeared to him, instantly he got a deep revelation and said, ‘who are you, Lord”.
Saul knew that it was God. When you have a divine encounter you will not need to be told that you have been touched by God, but you will know.
A divine encounter comes with deep revelations of secrets hidden and breaking of curses. An encounter will change your thinking; the same man that was annihilating Christians became a disciple of Christ.
Have things been stagnant in your life for quite some time? Business stuck? Finances, relationships and family void? If yes then read on and hear like unto Saul how your life and story too can be changed to become a success story! It all starts with one thing, — Divine ecounter!
Life is not meant to be ordinary and to be a circle of the same things over and over again.
No! If that’s what has been happening to you in any area of your life, I want you to shake yourself this day and say to yourself “I was born for something bigger and better!”
Understand that life is not just ordinary but also has a supernatural side. It is that element that is needed in your life to make all the difference and determine the course of life. You need to encounter heaven and experience the reality of Jesus. You may have been raised with the belief that, Jesus is a myth and a story of man, or that he has nothing to do with your life, my friend, I have good news for you, Jesus is alive and real.
As you read on, I pray that, you encounter the Holy Ghost, and that when he collides with your life, let also your family, finances, businesses, works of your hands and all you do prosper.
Your life can not remain the same. When an encounter comes things that were not moving begin to move, the things that were lurched onto you begin to fall off. Poverty will fall off, bad luck will fall off, and curses will be broken.
Being born again is okay; being filled with the Holy Ghost is also okay; but if you want to walk in a world of miracles, a world of the impossible you need a divine encounter.
Have you been told you are cursed and bewitched and will never amount to anything? Have they told you, you will die broke and poor, jobless, or even childless with no joy in your life?
You could even be hanging degrees on your wall but no job, no progress. Take heart, you are about to experience a divine encounter.
It is more powerful than any force that has been pulling you down.
It is like the head-on collision of a heavy truck and a little car (Morris miner). After such a collision the Morris Minor would never look the same again.
A divine collision leaves a life-changing impact on you. Lift up your faith, lift up your heart and put your trust in God! If you had thought there is no way out of your circumstance, cheer up, there is an answer and a way out — Divine Encounter!
Two things are certain to happen to your life! Firstly every wrong thing will be broken. The power of God will take charge of the circumstances of your life.
Certainly an encounter will not leave you the same.  No longer will you be tossed around and haunted by situations intending to turn your life, businesses and finances into a mess.
The encounter is all you need to have every negative circumstance turned around. It can be a tumour in your body, a huddle at work, crisis in the home and brokenness of the heart — the encounter with the Spirit of God will rub it all!
Despite the years, it has been like or the degree of the situation, the divine accident is with a higher and greater power, no wonder Saul asked “who art thou Lord?” Every situation is bound to recognise the power locked in an encounter!
Secondly a divine encounter will leave you with a fresh and deeper revelation of who God is and what he can do. Many people struggle to believe the Word of God and to comprehend how He can work miracles and channel blessings into someone’s life — it’s a divine encounter that makes all the difference.
Paul who was Saul got to know Jesus in a fresh way, and it changed the course of his destiny and life. You cannot meet heaven and be the same again.
Genesis 1 v26 reads, “And God said, ‘let us make man in our image, after our likeness . . .’”. (KJV)
God made you as an original, not a copy of anyone. You are your own self, you have your own destiny, even your own finger print.
Identical twins, for instance, do not even share the same finger print. God made you originally in his likeness, full of dominion, blessings, good health, prosperity, success, and so, elements such as poverty, sickness, amongst other negative elements, are all foreign to you. 
If you do not know the foreign elements in your life, you will perish.
Hosea 4 v 6 Says, “My people perish from the lack of knowledge”. (KJV)
If you haven’t been living a life of an original, you will need to have a “divine encounter” with the originator and your life will never be the same again.
When you have an encounter you will find there is money, there is promotion, there are businesses, cars and houses.
It is good to have dreams and visions but it is more important to have an encounter with the Holy Ghost. Everything you can ever want is in him.
If you want to heal the sick, cast out devils, preach and do exploits you need to first have an encounter. But it just doesn’t happen you have to desire it to happen. When you have an encounter there are things that were lurched onto you that will begin to fall off, poverty will begin to fall off, and bad luck will disappear. Everything that is in your life that does not belong there must go.
Once you have a divine encounter, you life will become a living testimony, you will not need a witchdoctor, or a traditional healer to help you secure a position or gain riches.
Moses had a divine encounter with God in the form of a burning bush and this was a turning point in his life.  When he had the encounter he fell to his knees and He was afraid to look at the bush, which he knew was God. He then went back to Egypt to deliver a message to King Pharaoh.
In Exodus 5 v 5 we are told that Moses and Aaron went and told Pharaoh that, “Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.” (KJV)
Moses doubted his ability to speak to Pharaoh, he was not confident that he could make people believe that he had been sent by God, but after his encounter, God was with him as he had promised in Exodus 3 v 11-12 which says, “11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12And he said, certainly I will be with thee . . .” (KJV)
Is there someone holding your miracle? Is the enemy sitting on your progress? Life could even be at the cross-roads for you right now; are you contemplating suicide?
Surrendering or quitting it all? Are you considering closing down that business, giving up that project? Are you almost signing divorce papers or running away from home? Hold it right there! This is your word and message.
A blessing is being released into your life. Your finances are being released; your healing is being released. Everything you desire is being released. Your marriage is being restored, you will not die but live to declare the promises of God.
As I am concluding on this week’s message, I am praying that life be turned around for you as a result of an encounter with heaven; receive an encounter with God now — a divine encounter!
