Local graphic designer iZaine (real name Augustus Vurunga) has released his debut seven track singles collection entitled “Episode 1 (Different colours)” which has different flairs of music.The compilation is a collection of different flavours and styles of music that the lyrical artist has to offer.

He said this is just the beginning hence the title “Episode”.

In an interview Vurunga said, he was trying to accommodate everyone and at the same time wanted to explore his talent.

“I have put together a collection of different types of tracks from acoustic to reggae to pure dancehall.

‘‘There is everything for everyone from love to inspiration and social commentary to pure dancehall,” he said. iZaine is an unsigned multi-talented artist who is fully involved in the production, marketing and distribution of his music.

“Nowadays artists cannot rely on talent alone. After recording a song there are many other technical procedures that should be respected but the current situation in the country does not make it easy for us new artists so I decided to be hands on in everything,” he said.

iZaine is definitely one of the best newcomers in 2016 and is hoping to release the next ‘Episode’ in 2017.

The “Episode 1” singles collection is a collective effort of three producers namely Iton (Propabless Entertainment), Lui V and Kross ZiBoss.

“People can find these tracks online on soundcloud.com under Kapmira entertainment and on facebook I have a page that is promoting the singles collection. The CDs are available in various places in Harare and Chiredzi and I’m still trying to secure more distribution centres to increase presence,” said iZaine.

The talented youthful musician said upcoming artistes should be simple.

“Make music like you’re running a business.

Every song should be a good one. Music is a product that needs good packaging and marketing just like any other product on the shelf,” he said.
