Sungura musician Alick Macheso today unveils his 10th album “Tsoka Dzerwendo (Ayaya)”. The musician through his spokesperson Tich Makahamadze said they have already printed about 100 000 CDs that will be available beginning today at Red Cross Society of Zimbabwe depots, Nash Paints outlets, record bars and street corners.

Fans from different walks of life have been waiting for the six track album patiently.

The tracks on the album are “Baba”, “Kurarama Inyasha”, “Wandirangaridza”, “Munyaradzi”, “Gungwa” and “Mude Mude”.

This morning the musician holds a radio launch on Star FM that will play his songs on air for the first time and Macheso will be on radio to get instant feedback from fans.

To add on to his expected release the musician has lined up a massive album launch at Harare International Conference Centre on Thursday.

Jive Zimbabwe an organisation that is behind the release and launch of the album said all has been set for the musician’s defining moments.

“We have done everything and today Zimbabweans in every corner will be having the new product. As for the launch we have done everything that is needed we are waiting for the day,” he said.

On the other hand Esau Mupfumi who has put up an “album release party” show in Mutare said he was happy to be hosting the musician first time after the release of the album.

Mupfumi is one of the promoters who have stood with the musician in the past four years when attendance at his shows has dropped.

He said it was important that as promoters they should give maximum support to the artists during the time when they have problems with their careers.
