Connie Ferguson has confirmed that she will be returning to Generations after weeks of dodging circulating rumours.
Ferguson left Generations in October 2010 to pursue other endeavours after playing the role of Karabo Moroka for 16 years.
The actress appeared in the first episode of Generations which aired in February 1994 and it seems fitting that she returns to rescue the popular soapie after 16 actors were fired.

After 20 years on air, pre-recorded episodes of Generations ran out forcing the long-running SABC1 soapie to be temporarily replaced with Skeem Saam.

The multi talented actress, producer and business women will have to juggle appearing in Generations with all her other roles and responsibilities.

The soapie will resume on December 1, said the broadcaster’s spokesman Kaizer Kganyago.
