“We are now working with Doc Vikela on a new show called ‘Dear Africa’ which is a weekly show that aims at giving our audience news with humour. The show will be based on trending topics, newspaper headlines and many interesting stuff happening around the globe,” he said.

He highlighted that Doc Vikela will be doing the news show while The Comic Pastor, Gonyeti and Magi will do the skits.

“Whilst Comic Pastor, Gonyeti and Magi will be doing skits, Doc Vikela will be hosting the news show. Once in a while Doc Vikela can feature in skits or the other team can feature in some of the news episodes. We are one big family,” he said.

Aaron said besides the skits they are working on a number of projects including Bustop Animation.

“We want to grow into production and do more stuff. Besides skits, we have animation show called Bustop Animation in partnership with Totally 2D Studio; Bustop TV Short Film Project in partnership with Mufakose Film Society; and we have partnered with Fly Africa to work on a documentary while on ‘Dear Africa’ we worked with Motion Videos Studio,” said.

Bus Stop TV re-branded from PO Box in a bid to connect with people from all walks of life and partnering with filmmakers.

The branding was sponsored by Nash Paintings and came after the new actors Sharon Chideu (Magi), Samantha Kureya (Gonyeti) and Ngomashi (The Comic Pastor) were making headlines after the former actors in the show Rolland Lunga (Boss Kheda) and Admire Kuzhangaira (Bhuthisi) left the show.
