Dereck Chisora

LONDON.—Frank Warren hopes to stage a rematch between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury which would serve as a World Boxing Organisation heavyweight title eliminator.
Zimbabwe-born Chisora and Fury are set to fight on the same bill at the Copper Box Arena on February 15. Chisora tops that bill after it was announced he will face American Kevin Johnson. The Londoner had been due to defend his European title against Andriy Rudenko, only for the undefeated Ukrainian to withdraw due to an Achilles injury. Fury will go up against Argentina’s Gonzalo Omar Basile as part of the undercard.

Fury beat Chisora on points when the pair last met in July 2011 for the British and Commonwealth belt, but has been frustrated in his plans to fight David Haye, with two bouts against the former world champion, who has been advised to retire following shoulder surgery, falling through.

And the 25-year-old launched a furious attack on Haye, telling a press conference: “He’s a f***ing b**ch and he wouldn’t fight (me).”
Warren had previously suggested Chisora and Fury could meet in June in an all-British clash, with Upton Park the preferred venue.“They’re the two best heavyweights in Europe, maybe the world, except for Wladimir Klitschko,” he said.

“I’m quite sure I can get a final eliminator for the WBO between Dereck and Tyson.”— Mail-online.
