Chicken Inn . . . . . . . .0
Triangle United . . . . .0KELVIN Kaindu’s pulling power was the major highlight of this boring Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match after more than 1 500 fans paid their way to watch the top of the table encounter at Luveve, which however, failed to live to its pre-match billing.

The home team did not anticipate the huge turn out and opened just a single entry point, resulting in some  fans coming into the stadium with the match already a quarter underway.

It was hard to tell that it was a midweek encounter as the GameCocks, even for a weekend match rarely attract 500 fans.

The first 10 minutes saw the two teams playing cautious football with little if any goal mouth action and on the quarter of an hour mark enterprising midfielder Clemence Matawu was yellow carded for a reckless tackle on Triangle’s Zambian import Makunda Sakala.

A minute later, Chicken Inn’s Michelle Katsvairo made a solo run on the left flank but it all came to naught after he was expertly stopped on his tracks by Charles Rukwani.

The former FC Platinum man was back into the visitors’ half in the 22nd minutes mark and this time he chose to let loose a stinger from about 30metres out which was punched for a corner by an alert Ronald Mudimu, in goal for Triangle.

Two minutes later Katsvairo could not believe himself when he shot over the bar from inside the box.
