Pastor Charles Charamba has engaged Diamond Studios, a record company to market and distribute his upcoming 10-track album titled “WeNazeretha”.
The album launch is set for tomorrow at Ster Kinerkor localed at Eastgate Mall.
According to Charamba, the album was recorded at his Fishers of Men studios but they decided to engage Diamond Studios who have a better marketing and distributing network.

“We have signed a contract with them (Diamond Studios) that will allow them to sell and distribute our album,” he said.
Diamond Studios boss Steady Munyanyi said they were happy to work with the Charambas.

“It is encouraging to see artistes like Charles Charamba joining hands with us we hope to work together to lift the Zimbabwean music higher,” he said.
He urged the artistes to remain united in fighting against piracy.

Charamba has joined other artistes like Thomas Mapfumo, Sulumani Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah who have been recording with the stable.
Charamba will be taking his new songs to Australia when he performs in Sydney on September 5, Melbourne the second day and Perth on September 7.

He said he was humbled by the support he got when he performed there for the first time last year.
“The response was overwhelming and we are looking forward to a great show again in Australia as we will be taking the new staff there,” he said.

The “Nyika Zimbabwe” singer promised fans a great show that would not just be about music, but more importantly prayer as they celebrate the last quarter of the year.

“God has answered some people their prayers and some have not and we all want to pray for them as we are heading towards the end of the year,” he said.
The Charambas have become known as “The First Family of Gospel Music”, and are arguably the best-selling gospel artistes to emerge from Zimbabwe.
Their music appeals to a wide audience with their sing-along tunes.

“People should look forward to a complete package because this will be yet another year of praising the Lord,” he said.
The couple has released popular albums like “Johanne 3:16”, “Vhuserere”, “Amen”, “Daily Bread”, “Exodus”, “Sunday Service” and “Verses and Chapters”.
They are both pastors with theological training, which enhances their understanding of the scriptures.

They have toured the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia and have shared the stage with the likes of Solly Mahlangu, Sipho Makhabane, and Ron Kenolly among others.

Their album is expected to be warmly received by their legion of fans.
