The Bodyslam Family, creators of the PTK-produced “Bodyslam Riddim”, have been mashing up the United Kingdom on a tour with Shinsoman and Killer T.
The Bodyslam Riddim is one of the latest beats in the highflying Zim Dancehall market and several artistes, including Soul Jah Love, Yoz and upstart Tocky Vibes have been riding high on the riddim.
Since Friday, the team performed in Birmingham and Luton.

Shinsoman and Killer T also shared the stage with a Jamaican USA based artiste Kranium.
The touring party also includes Dj Trouble on the turntables.

Simbarashe Chakare, the Bodyslam Records chief, told The Herald Entertainment yesterday that they were enjoying the British sun.
“As Bodyslam family it’s not our first time performing here — it’s the second time and we have given fireworks unleashing our Bodyslam Records products produced by young talented PTK,” he said.

“Friday night was mad in Birmingham the turn out was amazing, the environment peaceful and killer T and Shinsoman gave a splendid performance, the fans really loved every part of the show,” recounted. A

He said at Dunstable Leisure in Luton on Saturday was “crazy” and “Bodyslam mashed up the place”.
He said was happy with the reception he got from the fans who have been loving the show.

There is something more for the fans, too.
“We are giving away some t-shirts and caps to our UK fans and also have an opportunity to send to Australia and USA as the demand keep growing everyday,” said Chakare.

Shinso, who is turned 26 yesterday, celebrated the milestone in the UK at a party organised for him.
