Bobby Brown and Alicia

Bobby Browns’ wife Alicia Etheredge was rushed to hospital after suffering a seizure on Saturday evening following the chaotic and stressful funeral for Bobbi Kristina. She was rushed to a medical facility in the Atlanta area after suffering the seizure at a hotel the family were staying in after the service in Alpharetta, Georgia.

She was taken to hospital in an ambulance and a source said that once Alicia — who gave birth three weeks ago — got to the hospital she was able to walk inside with little help.

Bobby Brown was by her side at the time and her collapse came just hours after the devastated musician broke down in tears as he left the reception on Saturday following the funeral of his daughter Bobbi Kristina.

The RnB singer wiped away tears and his face appeared wracked with pain as he was driven in a white SUV from the St Marlo Country Club in Duluth, Georgia on Saturday evening.

The Brown family held the gathering following the funeral of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of the singer and his ex-wife Whitney Houston.

Bobbi Kristina passed away at a local hospice last Sunday, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home.

The reception in Duluth was held by the Brown family separately from the Houstons who had their own event in Buckhead, Atlanta following an ugly scene earlier at the funeral.

Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah also attended the reception after being ejected from her niece’s funeral following an outburst at Pat Houston, who is married to Whitney’s brother Gary.

Leolah was escorted out of the service by movie mogul Tyler Perry and then launched an astonishing attack on Pat Houston on Saturday morning.

Booted out of St James Methodist Church for interrupting Pat Houston’s eulogy in front of the star studded congregation of mourners, Brown began a tirade against her, saying, “Whitney Houston will haunt Pat Houston from the grave”.

As the simmering feud between the Brown and Houston families publicly and spectacularly erupted, Brown addressed reporters outside the church while the funeral for her niece ended with Whitney Houston’s Jesus Loves Me ringing out in the church.

“It’s not over. We’ve got evidence of who Pat really is, this is going to be a long drawn out process”, said Leolah, who has been fighting with the Houston family over Bobbi’s $20 million inheritance and the Sweet 16 theme of the funeral.

“Things are connected,” said Brown about Pat Houston, who is married to Whitney Houston’s brother Gary.

“Pat is a fraud and a phony. She is not a Houston, she’s a Garland.’

Eyewitnesses said the somber, invite-only funeral for 22-year-old Bobbi had been going well and was a celebration of her life. Her boyfriend Nick Gordon did not attend the funeral amid claims he was told to stay away by the family.

Reverend Michael McQueen, the senior pastor at St James’ hosted the the service which included prayers from the Bible, followed by tributes and then a eulogy.

Bobby Brown wrote a special message in the funeral’s program which read, “I also will always love you’ and in a touching move, a gospel choir sang the same song that was played at mother, Whitney Houston’s memorial.

Donnie McClurkin’s Stand was sung at the superstar singer’s memorial back in 2012 and the repeat performance touched everyone.

“It was beautiful. It was wonderful that Whitney was remembered too” said one mourner to the UK’s Daily Mirror.

Her grandmother, gospel singer Cissy sang The Lord is my Shepherd

All the mourners inside the church were given an A4 order of service, embossed with a beautiful picture of Bobbi on the front.

The service in total went on for two hours and 41 minutes — including Leolah Brown’s outburst — and finished with the late 22-year-old being taken out of the church with bagpipes playing Ave Maria.

It was when Pat Houston began her eulogy though, that Leolah began heckling and outside the church she paid tribute to her niece.

“She will be remembered in our hearts forever. It’s so sad that this has happened to her,’ said Brown.

“I’m angry at Nick, I am angry at what happened.’

“It was all fine until Pat started speaking.’

Prior to Leolah’s outburst, it was reported that members of the Brown family were upset that Pat Houston had asked for donations to her charity instead of mourners buying Bobbi Kristina flowers.

Brown was furious with Bobbi Kristina’s funeral invitation, which states: “The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bobbi Kristina’s name to The Marion P Foundation.”

The Marion P. Foundation is a charity run by Pat Houston, and it is for the benefit of troubled teens.

Earlier last month, Bobby Brown’s relatives were barred from visiting the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Georgia because an unidentified person took deathbed photographs and tried to sell them.

And, of course, both families are fighting for control of Bobbi Kristina’s $20 million inheritance.

Earlier, mourners including Grammy award winning singer Monica and actor Michael Jai White gathered at the Alpharetta, Atlanta church to say goodbye to Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown.

However, Dionne Warwick, the cousin of Whitney Houston was not photographed at the service after it was reported she would stay away in protest at the Sweet 16 theme organised by Pat Houston.

Bobbi Kristina’s silver casket arrived at St. James United Methodist Church just a few hours before her funeral.

Her hearse was escorted to St. James United Methodist Church by a huge police motorcade and her coffin was carried into the invitation only service by four men dressed in black suits as family members arrived for the 11am start.

Eight police motorcycles escorted three stretch limousines carrying mourners to the church ahead of the service. A procession of dozens of cars followed.

Family: Bobby was joined by his wife Alicia Etheredge, who embraced members of the clan

Security was tight at the church, with check points being manned by family personnel and Georgia State Troopers as scores of media and members of the public gathered outside.

Those in attendance included her father Bobby Brown and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, but one very notable absentee was Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who found her unconscious in a bathtub at her home nearly six months ago.

Despite pleading with Brown and Bobbi’s aunt, Pat Houston, Gordon was told he was not welcome at the funeral — believed to have had a Sweet 16 theme.

In June, a court-appointed conservator for Bobbi Kristina filed a $10 million lawsuit against Gordon, alleging he assaulted her and took money from her estate.

Bobby, 46, was ushered in a side door to the church with wife Alicia Etheridge-Brown, who gave birth to their second child together, a baby girl just three weeks ago.

However, it was not clear if Dionne Warwick, the cousin of Whitney Houston attended after reports she is furious with Pat Houston for deciding on the “inappropriate” theme.

Well-wishers were held back by a police cordon and said that they simply wanted to be there for Bobbi Kristina and for Whitney Houston.

Adriane Gregory, 36, traveled 17 hours from Connecticut with her two children and boyfriend to say goodbye to Bobbi Kristina.

She told the Daily Mail Online: “Whitney was a good singer and I loved her. It’s really sad what has happened to her (Bobbi Kristina).

“She was still grieving for her mother. It touches your heart.”

She added: “I have followed Whitney my whole life. I have her on my phone right now.” On Friday mourners arrived at Murray Brothers Funeral Home for the wake. Soon after the Houstons left the funeral home, the Brown family arrived to view Bobbi Kristina’s body, causing speculation that the families had planned to avoid each other.

The long-running feud has caused concerns for the Browns, who fear the Houstons could sneak a photo of her body during the funeral and sell it.

TMZ have said the Brown family are on high alert in a bid to prevent the release of a photo.
