Hip hop rapper Nonku Vundla better known as ‘‘Black Bird’’ will tomorrow conduct a workshop dubbed “Artists Publicity” at Hope Centre in Bulawayo. Black Bird said the idea came after a demand from various people in the arts industry. “This idea of holding workshops came after years of receiving messages from artists all over Zimbabwe who wanted advice and help on how to get their music get on the radio.

“As an artist I know how difficult it is to get your brand into the market and I am doing this also for art lovers who should be exposed to amazing music, films being produced that is not known across the country,” she said.

She said the workshop targets musicians, actors, playwrights, models and writers who want public profile to blossom their careers.
“This is the first one, an introductory course and I am planning to bring in people from the radio,television and newspapers to teach them as well on how to improve their public relations skills and chances of getting published or airplay,” she added

The “Waiting for love” hit-maker said plans are underway to hold the workshops nationally.
