After what appears to be a routine for most Harare night spots that offer nothing but just music and booze, The Grain located at the Newlands Shopping Centre has sprung a huge surprise with a “Beach Party” scheduled for tomorrow at the club.
Like all beach parties, it goes without saying that the decor, the ambience and even the dress code will resemble scenes that are normally found at renowned beaches all over the world whether in Mauritius, Malibu or Hawaii.

So those who will show up at the party  should expect to see music lovers in colourful beach wear, bum shorts, daisy dukes and of course, boob tubes.

But the decor would not be complete without the palm trees and sand to add that spark and fun of being on the real beach.

Co-produced by Adrian “Beefy” Harrison and Kudzai “Dee Nosh” Matondo, the beach party promises nothing short of fireworks after the two collaborated on two successful events that attracted the who’s who of Harare.

Beefy is the face behind the hugely popular Zim Hip-hop Awards and a big fan of Zimbabwean music.

He has also hosted memorable parties in the northern suburbs while Dee Nosh is known for his years of experience as a club DJ.

Dee Nosh never disappoints whenever he is behind the turntables. Fans are assured of a memorable gig with Dee Nosh on the decks.

His playlist carters for a diverse crowd be it R&B, soul, hip-hop and house, he delivers his best in music. Since moving to  The Grain, Dee Nosh has attracted the discerning club goers who want to enjoy a night out  without being pushed or shoved.

So the weekend beach party brings in something new to music lovers who have become used to the same old stuff week in, week out.

Also on the entertainment line-up are some of the big names on the turntables in the likes of Taf Miles, Tipsy, Juice while the performing artistes include SOD, Team Rehab, rapper Trae Young, Schingy and the popular Pee-Kay of the Ma1 fame.

Apparently, Pee-Kay has done a collaboration with Jamaica’s best Busy Signal on a tune called “Show Me Love”.

The hit is having spins on most national radio stations and it follows the success of the club banger called “Ma1” which he featured BaShupi.

Dee Nosh promised patrons at the club a great outing at the beach party.

“We are good to go and come Saturday it will be blazing at the club as we bring a fresh concert to clubbing. Summer is upon us and it is time to dress well and party hard,” he said.
