BancaABC Sup8r, we stand guided by ZIFA-Bosso highlanders

This comes after the Premier Soccer League president, Twine Phiri, revealed that they will set up another ad-hoc committee to deal with the issue from stretch.

“We are setting up an ad-hoc committee which will sit and review the dispute as prescribed by the rules and regulations governing the tournament,” Phiri told our Harare Bureau.
Andrew Tapela, the Highlanders secretary, said they would not accept anything outside Zifa’s decision.

“As Highlanders, we are saying anything that is outside the Zifa board decision is unacceptable. A decision      was taken by Zifa and none of us, Dynamos included, contested that decision (to have a replay). We all           know that Zifa is the supreme policy making body in the country and what other committee can have the nerve to overrule a Zifa decision?” asked Tapela.
He said Bosso, following the Zifa directive, travelled all the way to the National Sports Stadium in the capital only for Dynamos to decide not to come.

Asked for their comment on the latest state of affairs Dynamos secretary Oliver Manyau said they have already communicated their position to the PSL acting chief executive officer Kennedy Ndebele in Bulawayo.
“Our position is with the CEO, talk to him,” said Manyau.
Efforts to talk to Ndebele were fruitless as he was said to be busy.

Tapela said as Bosso they will be guided and comforted by the preaching of the biblical Isaiah, Chapter 59 verse 14 to 15: “So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice.”
