Ordinarily August is known for gusty winds that makes everything dusty but with the change of seasons towards the end of month it becomes sunny.
For those seeking a night out this is an ideal weather for showing a bit of flesh especially the ladies.
So whenever summer comes, people really love and that is the time most hangouts in Harare go full circle to ensure that revellers feel the summer breeze with lots of parties and outdoor entertainment.

For some hangouts like ZimCafe Restaurant along Kwame Nkurumah officially marks the return of the popular “All White Party” this Saturday.
There seems to be something special about these “All White Party” themed parties because they always attract huge crowds who come dressed in white apparel and dance the night away under a full moon.

And there are prizes too for those who outdo the rest in donning all white clothing. Previously, some gentlemen would don anything white from the socks, the shoes to even the head gear.

As for women, it would be a white affair from the jewellery, accessories to even the shades of the on their eyebrows.
But when patrons gets down to serious dance they seem to forget that they would be wearing white linen.

Those are some of the scenes you see at “All White Parties”.
But the night would not be complete without the cool music courtesy of Hugggiez Entertainment, made up of popular DJs  — Witness “Chuman” Matema, Kudzi “Mr Kool” Marudza, Ronald “D-Train” Chiwanza and Frankie.

The DJs have hosted several parties in and outside Harare where they drop hit after hit in old skool music.
The party starts on a slow tempo and then peaks up with the DJs rocking the decks with some yesteryear classics as they bring the good old days with music dating back to the late 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and hits at the turn of the millennium.

According to Chuman, the weekend party will be different as they crank up the beats.
Isaac Neshamba popularly known as F&B Guru and ZimCafe director said they were inviting all mature patrons to come for a special treat.

“Like I always say, the original is hard to beat this weekend we have lined up a great party as we celebrate summer. We are hoping to deliver a stand-out gig like we have done in the past. There will be specials for the ladies and prizes for the best dressed couples,” he said.
