A total of 12 horses will line up in the starting stalls for the Second Leg Open Zimoco Ipi Tombi stakes set for Borrowdale Racecourse tomorrow.

The runners will compete in the 1 600 metres race that has different representatives from different yards.

This year the race has US$12 000 in stakes to be awarded to the winner and three-placed runners.

The Zimoco Ipi Tombi race will be the last of the day in a day that will have seven races.

Seasoned runner Captains Tiger was dropped from the initial 13 nominees announced last week bringing the field to 12.

Bridget Stidolp stable and the Amy Bronkhorst have come in with the highest number of runner with Alula Borealis, Lucky Sam and Menacing coming from the former while the latter has Equina, Gentle Brooke as well as Thriller in Manila.

Alison Wright has A King is Born and Orbit War while Gokhan Terzi has brought on board Glorious Jet and Super Trouper as D’Aquino will be represented by Two Gun Kid.

Madigan, who dominated several races last season, will come on to represent Kirk Swanson.

The race will see the winner pocketing US$2 400, US$ 1 500 and US$900 respectively.

The other races will include the Borrowdale Stud Maiden, Zimoco Specialised Services, Only in a Jeep merit rated among three others.
