Soul Jah Love is a wanted man! Take it easy, he is not wanted for criminal reasons — promoters are jostling for his signature and this weekend he will be a busy man.

As the Harare Agricultural Show comes to an end, many gigs have been lined up for tomorrow and Soul Jah Love will feature at a number of shows.

After the busy day, Soul Jah Love will be honoured at show that has been dubbed “Soul Jah Love Biggest Dancehall Showdown” that is slated for tomorrow night at an open space opposite Harare Fire brigade station.

The show is meant to celebrate the musician’s achievements and success. He will be sharing the stage with a number of dancehall artistes at the event.

All eyes are likely to be on Soul Jah Love as he leads other dancehall artistes through the celebratory night.

Chipaz Promotions that usually holds a clash of dancehall musicians on the last day of the show said they thought of rewarding Soul Jah Love without conducting a clash because the musician has proved that he is the outstanding chanter this year.

Other musicians that will perform at the event include Seh Calaz, Killer T, Freeman, Kinna, Hwindi President and Silent Killer.

Also to be on stage are T Makwikwi, Jah Signal, Dadza D, Guspy Warrior, Magical, Kadhija, K Queen and Bounty Lisa.

On the turntables will be a sound clash featuring Gary B and Templeman, Judgement Yard, Zimdancehall Empire, Fyah Links, Gaza Empire, Digital One International, Solid Records and Chillspot. It is indeed set to be a massive dancehall showdown since it involves most of the respected Zimdancehall entertainers.

Partson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions said they would celebrate the musician for his achievements.

“It will be a celebration of Soul Jah Love’s achievements as he has remained one of the most consistent artistes on the scene. He has worked with many other dancehall stars and he also has many friends in the genre so we have invited so many artistes to perform at the event.”
