Kerry Craven has urged all the selected players to intensify their preparations for the International Quadrangular Series set for next month in Bulawayo.

She said the team’s chances of grabbing gold were high.

“We must take the home advantage, our chances are high because the team has experienced bowlers, therefore, we must continue with our practice sessions to make our nation proud,” said Craven. This will be the first time for Zimbabwe to host the Series which will see the four top teams from the region taking part.

Namibia, Zimbabwe and the South Africa senior and junior sides are expected to feature at the tournament.

“We are looking forward to playing the quadrangular, which is a very competitive tournament,” said Craven.

“Both our teams did well in Namibia last year at the same completion but this year we even want to bowl well and aim for gold.”
