A 34-year-old man and his sister yesterday appeared in court accused of conniving to hide 43 kilogrammes of dagga in a National Railways of Zimbabwe warehouse.

Carvern Muzondo, employed by Catering Industry as a computer account administrator, appeared in court jointly charged with his sister Violet (37). They intercepted them and demanded to search their luggage. The detectives discovered that they were carrying dagga and arrested them. The dagga was weighed at Harare Main Post Office in the presence of the accused and it weighed 42,990kg.

The dagga has a street value of $429,90 and will be produced in court as exhibit.
